Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

  Employment Type: Consulting
Location: Rhode Island & New Jersey

  Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months plus possible extensions
Must have skills:
Agile mindset and fast to adapt to change
Test Automation experience with one Object Oriented Programming(Java, C#..)
Min of 10 years
Core Responsibilities:  

  • Contribute to the team’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining, designing, and executing tests in support of the agile development process. 
  • Design and development automated testing code and scripts with inputs and expected results as part of a test framework. This includes integration, UI, and acceptance level tests. 
  • Drive testing mindset on agile team and support developers in their creation of efficient and comprehensive automated unit and integration tests. Partner with developers to improve and automate test processes.?  
  • Research and maintain testing frameworks and tools. 
  • Design test scenarios, acceptance criteria (using gherkin) and test data. 
  • Conduct exploratory testing and other manual testing as needed leveraging critical thinking and product knowledge to find issues rapidly. 
  • Configure and maintain tooling for testing, coverage, and reporting. 

Qualifications:
Education:? Bachelor's degree, or similar experience, preferably in an IT-related discipline.?  
Knowledge and Experience: 

  • 12+ years of experience as a  Quality Assurance Specialist/QA Analyst role in a high performance and dynamic team environment. 
  • Agile mindset and fast to adapt to change. 
  • Excellent communication, analytical and time management skills. Must demonstrate ability and desire to continually learn.

Job Title: SQL Server Database Administrator

  Location: SAN DIEGO | Dallas, TX | Remote

Duration: 12+ months contract

Core Responsibilities:

· Lead the phased migration of SQL Server databases from our legacy DC3 infrastructure to the new VCP environment.

· Perform comprehensive installation and configuration of SQL Server instances within the VCP, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.

· Conduct proactive database tuning and optimization to maintain peak health, performance, and stability for high-volume transactional systems.

· Execute robust data migration processes from DC3 SQL Servers to VCP SQL Servers, ensuring data consistency and integrity throughout the transition.

· Continuously review ongoing database changes, performing impact analysis to prevent disruptions and ensure operational continuity.

· Provide essential production support, demonstrating flexibility in working hours to address critical database incidents and ensure high availability.

· Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to support ongoing database needs and project requirements.

Qualifications:

· Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator.

· Migration Expertise: Proven experience with SQL Server database migrations, ideally across different infrastructure platforms.

· Performance Tuning: Strong knowledge and practical experience in SQL Server performance tuning and optimization.

· Data Handling: Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain databases handling large amounts of data and high transaction volumes.

· Production Support: Willingness and availability to provide flexible production support, including outside of standard business hours when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

· Experience with OpenShift containers.

· Proficiency in Linux Server environments
